SP5 Steven R. Litherland - Plano, TX

Plano, TX. May 19, 2011 - SP5 Steven R. Litherland, Sr. receives honors from House of Heroes, Inc  for his service in Vietnam.  Home repairs took place on a Thursday with several members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Habitat for Humanity.  Items such as carpet and painters were donated as part of the project.  SP5 Litherland expressed his gratitude for the service and felt that healing from the war can now begin.  Mayor Phil Dyer of Plano attended the Honor Ceremony and expressed gratitude for the mission of HOH and visiting the great city of Plano.  Char Broil was on hand to serve meals to all of the volunteers and everyone was thankful for the hospitality.
